Simpson And His Donkey

We had to listen to a person reading the story and record the interesting information. We were learning to summarise text. My example is a bit blurry, but I did find this quite a good tool to use.

My Highlights Of This Term

Highlights so far this year

The subject area/s I am most proud of:
Im am proud of my tech rotation media studies because I made a successful movie.
Something I am really glad about:
starting food tech because it gets exciting part way through it.
Something I used to struggle with but I am feeling better about:
I used to struggle with maths but I’m feeling lot better because I have learnt about decimals when I did not know how to use it
Something I have worked very hard at:
Homework tasks - I try my best to complete it everyday.
Something new I have learned or experienced for the first time:
I have done standard form for the first time for subtraction ,addition and using decimals.

What’s next?

Something I am wondering about:
What are some of the subjects we would do everyday?
Something I’d like you to know I struggle with:
Sometimes I struggle with reading and writing but I don’t normally.
What I need to be better at:
Taking the right choice of people that I won’t talk too much about stuff that isn't work related or just work alone.
Something I’d really like to learn or experience that we haven’t done yet:
Learning about some new writing technique.

Whakapapa Homework

We made a family tree about our family and had to interview them. When we were done we had to compare their answers. The people I interviewed were Trevor and my dad Sam.

My dad had a lot more better technology like games consoles,a sega mega drive and a commodore 64 for computer, but Trevor had lot more technology in and older form.

They both loved doing sport after school ,but my dad liked collecting rugby league cards.

When Trevor was little he had to go to school 9:00am, my dad had a difference he had to be half an hour early (8:30) than Trevor.

I found out they both do the regular stuff we do now days. They had a lot of tech but trevor had told me that he was using pencil ink in a little cartridge and to use it they had the old pots of ink.
